Everyone we came across was friendly and they had a bunch of shops and Starbucks in the resort which made it so convenient for us. "Hotel is in a central location, close to everything which was great given we were first timers. We had a partial ocean view room, the view was fabulous. Room was clean and perfect for 2 people. Beds were comfortable. Only drawback would be the resort fee at $40USD is excessive given there are not a lot of ammenities at the hotel compared to others. Would consider staying here again given its location. "

"We stayed here in 2021 for our 10th anniversary and came back this year for our anniversary again and got a balcony room. Unfortunately, the balcony was closed due to repair work being done and that was pretty disappointing. The internet was also not very good, and I had to use my phone's mobile hotspot to get connected most of the time. We still had a great trip, and we will be back because we love the resort, so hopefully next time those fixes have been completed."

"I just returned home from a 5-night stay at the Hilton Vacation Club, The Modern Honolulu and it was amazing! The property is clean, modern, and quiet, and the staff are very helpful. I loved that there are free daily activities, like lei making and hula classes! The hotel is about a 25-minute walk from Waikiki Beach, and a 10-minute walk from the Ala Moana Center, so it's in a good location overall. I would definitely stay here again!"

The hotel also provides items (towels, speaker, toys, etc.) to take to the beach with you as well for no additional cost, which is a bonus!
