"The cottage itself is the second story of the two-story unit. The inside is very attractively decorated Hawaiian beach motif. It hadeverything you could need in a beach apartment with chairs, towels, umbrellas, body boards, etc. masks fins. snorkel. The apartment itself is a bit of a sauna, it’s soaks in that sun and with the humidity of the beach it is very warm and sticky. The owner has yet to fix two windows that would allow more Breeze into the apartment, I really hope she fixes them now...

"This is our top vacation destination. It’s our fifth stay. We love being able to cook our own meals in the well-furnished kitchen and then literally step outside to the beach. We could hear the waves from our bedroom. Sunrises are stunning. We saw sea turtles and seals on the beach. Host is very responsive and helpful. Snorkel gear is provided, and there’s often some nonperishable food in the pantry (coffee, oil, sugar, salt/pepper). We can’t wait to return."

"Property was as described. Pool is shared pool with other tenants, but we rarely saw them and when we did everyone was so friendly! Property owners were kind and easy to reach and communicate with! Property was clean, comfortable, and suited our needs perfectly. Parking was tight, but doable! Would definitely stay here again. "

"I rented this property out for 39 days. Basically there isn’t a whole lot of you should expect here. It’s a very small place that is overpriced. Location is nice to Waikiki but next to a park that has a lot of homeless individuals on drugs. Customer service would receive 0 stars if available."

"We had a wonderful stay. Property was as pictured. The biggest challenges we found is that the area you need to drive through to get to the property is very run down. The property is about a 30 min drive from any safe amenity such as a grocery, gas station etc. If you want to just stay in one place your whole trip this is the place. But if you want to explore around it is not. I would have liked the property to have also listed that there were things like - washer and dryer, hair dryer, general...

"This apartment cannot be beat. You are tucked away in the most beautiful neighborhood on Oahu while also staying accessible to restaurants, hikes, stores, and other areas of the island. "We had an amazing stay in Kailua. We loved the area that had a beautiful beach nearby (walking distance), many shopping and food options with a small town feel, and very responsive and helpful hosts. Driving to all the other attractions on the island were only 30 minutes to an hour away. The lanai was a favorite spot to sit and relax enjoying the plumeria and other beautiful plants and birds. "I would stay here again. McDonald’s is two small builds away, an ice shop in the corner, a massage, a motorcycle rental, a grill cheese shop that popping every day till closing time, a Japanese restaurant, Italian restaurant, just on your right in the corner, once you cross the street. On the left side of the build of Waikiki hotel, is a bar, ihop, and across the street ABC store and hula Mexican restaurant that’s okay but not the greatest. It’s a walking distance to many places beach, to shopping!"
