"Booked a 2 night stay for a romantic getaway & to explore the surrounding area. On arrival at 2.30 our room was ready which was a nice surprise. We unpacked & went to the spa, it’s very small, only 2 loungers & 6 chairs bu the pool & they were all taken. The jacuzzi was full too so we had a swim, the pool wasn’t very warm & then eventually a few people vacated the jacuzzi so we hoped in, but unfortunately it wasn’t working properly the bubbles when they started were very underwhelming! "Hotel is in a very good location. An old manor house. The inside of the premises looked like it was refurbished but the outside is in need of TLC & a very good clean. The grounds are lovely. Our bedroom was good apart from tea cups that were not washed. Over all a very nice stay. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. Dinner was good too. Excellent staff with very good customer service. We will visit again if in the area. "

"Lovely location, super grounds and the lounge is beautifully comfortable - we would definitely go back. We didn't try the spa this time, although it was clearly a popular facility. On the downside - our room was quite noisy (lots of bumping around from outside and we knew every time someone next door turned on their water...) and looked overdue for redecoration and modernisation. Service was friendly and efficient at breakfast and in the bar."

"upon arrival Christina was very pleasant and helpful checking us in, we later returned to reception to book breakfast, this is time we were dealt with by Charmain, who was also pleasant and helpful. The Room was clean and comfortable for the 3 of us, we used the pool twice, which was a nice treat to have this downstairs , this too was clean and appeared to be well maintained. Overall a good experience all round, will book again if we need to stay in the area again"

"We had a lovely stay at this gorgeous hotel. We were just there for one night so didnt get to see much of the area but will definitely go back. Staff were warm friendly and nothing was too much trouble, room was compact but had everything ee needed and a very comfy bed and lovely bedding. "
