"I travelled down to Brighton with some friends to take part in the Brighton 10k run on Sunday 17th November. The hotel is nice but located in an old building so parts of the hotel felt quite cold at times. However, the breakfast was nice and the location is great and central to everything near by!"

"Really lovely stay and the staff were super friendly. Definitely worth heading to the bar for a drink. It was a shame I couldn’t have a bath as the plug didn’t create a seal so the water drained out. We would definitely stay again if travelling from Gatwick."

"The hotel is nice enough, and good value for money given the area. Not in Tunbridge Wells (centre is about a 10-15 minute drive away) but close enough to be convenient. The decor (particualrly the carpets) are outdated, and my room had a slight sewage smell at times. But it was a good place to stay for working purposes."

"We knew the hotel was an older building having stayed before a few years ago but the location right on the seafront is almost unbeatable. Our room was a decent size but looked a bit tatty around the edges, the TV was useless and the cleanliness was ok, but not great. Most importantly the bed was comfortable, the pillows were decent and we slept well. Would we stay here again? For the right price probably yes, as you're only a 5 minute walk from the nicest parts of the city."

"Disappointed not to have race course view as per room pictured by Hotels.com. Instead had view of car park! Difficult to find hotel in the dark as hotel sign not lit up. Pure luck we found the entrance and way down drive to hotel. Also during day only seen from travel towards sign, nothing the other way. "
