"We were staying for 2 nights, the first night my daughters bed was very uncomfortable and the room was warm. However, after speaking with the lovely lady on reception a move to a different room resolved all issues in a polite, friendly and professional manner! "Our 2 need time staying here. Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff. Although we did have an issue with check in this time around. Arrived just before 2pm and was told our rooms weren’t ready yet (not an issue itself as we were slightly early) but we were told to take a seat and someone would let us know when our rooms were ready. We sat waiting for over 20 mins and nothing so my partner went back to reception only to be told the rooms were ready and there must have been a miscommunication. Not the best start but everything else after that was great. The breakfast here is amazing, absolutely everything you could think of, spoilt for choice, and the staff are more than happy to help with any special requests you may have. We will be heading back later in the year for our 3rd visit with hopefully a smoother check in. "

"This hotel is conveniently situated right next to the M6. It has free parking and free (unsecured) WiFi. Check in was quick, welcoming and friendly. There is no lift and very long corridoors, this was a bit of a problem for us as we have resticted mobility. Our room was spacious and very clean with a good bathroom. There was a walk in shower, but it was quite a step up with no grab rail, so again if you have mobility issues, this may be a problem. The bed was comfy and the room was quiet. The TV was very oddly programmed and took a while to master. The bar and lounge area was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Lots of hot and cold choices available and Alex served, assisted and cleared very efficiently. We were particulary impressed with the breakfast. All in all a good stay and we would return."

"This property is stunning . The breakfast is excellent. Cleanliness is top class . Staff are welcoming and very pleasant people. Grounds are kept immaculate by the grounds staff - who deserve a special mention for their excellent efforts . My minor negative is that , although the evening meals are excellent and tasty , the menu needs at least one “ Today’s special” on it that changes Daily .. as after 2 nights we had both used our options up on the very restricted choice menu - and so we had to eat out in the locality to try for something different and so not repeat ourselves. "

"Our room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Good breakfast. Value for money. Staff were fine. I would book this hotel again. The hotel currently appears to be undergoing some refurbishment. I found it difficult to get the water warm enough for a shower. A kettle to make some coffee in the room would have been nice."
