"Great one night stay here for the grand theatre Wolverhampton. Only £6/7 in a taxi there. Couldn't really find a nice hotel in the town centre, so found this gem. It's kept it's old gothic style with all modern furnishings. Lovely dining room. My one and only complaint was the pillows were hard. But suited my friend that stayed with me, so just personal choice. Amazing staff. Nice walk down the lane to nice pub too. "

"We have stayed in this hotel a few times but for the first time we were on the side of the hotel that is nearest the M6. We loved this side because it caught the sun, you could barely see the motorway but the view was great. Overall, staff were very friendly. The only downside was the chaos at breakfast, where there were insufficient staff to make the breakfast experience pleasurable."

"Clean hotel room in a convenient location for us. The only downsides were the noise of the front door - not sure whose great idea it was to put a family room (206) directly above the main entrance and opposite the exit of the pub and the bed was rather hard - I compared it to the slab you would lay on for a Turkish massage but some might like that, I personally didn't. "The staff were excellent and offered high quality service, I felt like the property itself looks very old and outdated bar the new extension for the rooms. I also feel this is a Golf course 1st and Hotel and Spa second. Not bad for a night away especially if you are an older couple but younger couples may feel out of place.
