"Aló is a great, new hotel in Centro GDL. The rooms are clean, modern, and the staff was very helpful. The roof-top restaurant served a very reasonably priced breakfast and had options for both indoor and outdoor seating. Overall we had a very good first visit. We travel to GDL a few time a year to visit family and I think this hotel is definitely better suited for travelers familiar with GDL. Because it is located in a primarily retail section, the area around the hotel becomes fairly desolate after 7pm when all the stores close, and I think for unknowing travelers it can be mistaken as an unsafe area even though it is safe. One recommendation would be to ask for either an inner room (no outside windows) or a room facing the pedestrian walkway. Our street-side room had traffic noise well into the night, but that said, the alarm clock in the room had different noise-canceling sound options for sleeping. We will definitely be back. "
