"Really lovely hotel and had a great stay as located brilliant for friends in Bovey Tracy. Only two small disappointing things from the stay. When there is an event on (party in my case) the car park gets full as parking isn’t marked out so cars park with large spaces between them. I struggled when I arrived back at 9pm. The second issue was the heating I couldn’t switch it off in my room and it was like a sauna even with the window open. I noticed quite a few windows were open in rooms so...

"Lovely clean property in a gorgeous location in Salcombe. All the staff were friendly and our room had a partial view of the estuary which was lovely. The parking is a bit off putting as it’s on a steep slope and limited but the staff do take care of that when you arrive and can park your car for you. "Stopping off in Devon for a few days break, we were very pleased with our stay at The Globe. While the property is very far from being an "all singing all dancing" modern hotel (no elevator for example); it has buckets of charm and is situated in an excellent location. Our room was certainly spacious and very clean and well appointed and everything worked perfectly.
