"Very friendly staff"

"Really pleased to have stayed here when on an overnight trip to Exeter. Had a lovely dinner in the evening in the restaurant. It was busy with all the Christmas groups but had a really good atmosphere and we were served quickly even though busy. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and clean. Slept really well. It was nice being just outside Exeter and had a wander around small town and along the quayside before leaving. Would definitely stay again, with the friendly team looking after...

"The hotel was a joy to stay at. The staff are fabulous and Nicole at breakfast was so lovely. The food was really good and would recommend the Argento rose as a perfect end to the day. The bar staff would look after an open bottle for us in the fridge. The rooms were so comfortable and the bathroom was perfect and clean. I am definitely coming back on my next visit to Dartmoor. Thank you to all the staff for creating a welcoming hotel."

"Great stay, not really too sure why people have left negative feedback for this place ? I can only imagine they have Rolls Royce taste & Skoda budgets as the saying goes ? Im a sales rep so i stay away quite a bit. yes this place isnt the most luxurious - but look at what you pay. It ticked all the boxes for me. & i stay away quite a bit. Yes the bar area is small ish, but that to me is an appeal. They have a larger restaurant area if that's better suited ? It was a cosy pub atmosphere. The food...

"Nice Inn reached by narrow lanes. Care needed! Good good and drink. Breakfast from 0830 onwards was very tasty and of good quality. Would revisit. Too far to reach Exeter for an 0900 meeting... So if Woking book you meeting a bit later as it is worth the extra drive to this place "
