It's so refreshing to be handled with such care and thought. Breakfast was excellent, and a must have - proper sausages and bacon on the full english, and they have mastered the art of a poached egg! Some noise from the main road of an evening, but you can't do anything with that if you are at the front of the property and close to the road. Rare gem...

Good breakfast with extra choices included to order like pancakes and omelettes. The room had a nice style - the brown decor looked modern rather than 70s - which I had wondered when booking from some of the pictures. The room itself was clean but overall a bit worn around the edges. Overall would stay again because of the convenience."

"I really can’t fault this hotel. It’s in a great locations, very central, about 5 minutes walk from the station if coming by train which we did. Not sure though what parking arrangements are if any. Great breakfast choice - cooked breakfast choice on a menu but rest if buffet style. Would highly recommend "
