I ordered a drink a the bar and I actually explained to the lady how to do it - it was just an Apperoll spritz- nothing fancy). "What a find. Self catering accomodation with Hotel facilties. Beatiful old house and our Studio apartent was very spacious and clean with lovely views of the grounds. Had one evening meal in the Lemon Tree restaurant which was excellent. Enjoyed the laid back entertainment in the Hall."

"My stay was great from the moment I got checked in by Persia who was lovely and even offered to see if the kitchen would prepare me something even though they had just closed. After my long journey from London it was a very good welcome. My room had a beautiful window with a view of the Lake and the mountains. The rest of the staff from the bar to the restaurant was really accommodating and kind. It’s within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, cinema and the lake of course. "
