We were all in the Maison category rooms w/loft & able to open to a small balcony for fresh air. Rooms are sound proof, spacious & very modern altho bldg was built in the 1600’s. Lovely stay and would highly recommend staying at this hotel. "

"Beautiful property and excellent location. Very close to the train station, so no cabs required if this is how you’re arriving/departing. Right in the middle of Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. Restaurants and other main attraction areas are within 5-10 minutes walking. Very clean rooms, helpful staff, and nice bathrooms. Showers are small as they are in all of Italy, but not a problem for us. Would absolutely stay here again. "

"The one downfall of the room was the shower. It had only a half glass that was supposed to keep the water from spilling on to the floor. It didn't work. Had water all over the floor. What a mess. This is a terrible design. Also, in our room, the wifi was very weak. "
