Kitchen is awesome to cook and views are unbelievable. Couldnt reccommend more for a true Tuscany experience. Views are stupendous. "We had a wonderful 3 week stay with 8 adults and later 8 adults and 2 children. The property was as depicted with well maintained pool and yard, outdoor dining area, well equipped kitchen. It is on 3 levels with connecting spiral staircase plus a loft. Sarah was a wonderful host, very helpful and responsive. Bagni di Lucca is well past its glory days, but still charming and a short rather steep walk from the house. This is not the Tuscany we imaged with vistas of rolling hills and hilltop towns:...

"We had a great week at Casa Tolomei. The house retains its traditional historic feel though benefits from an updated kitchen and bathrooms. We stayed during a particularly hot week so it was great to have the new pool to keep cool! The family really enjoyed the space of having ante-rooms to their bedrooms too. "Overall we loved our stay. The villa had great spaces to spend time with others, both indoors and outdoors, and large bedrooms to spend time alone as needed. The kitchen was great, even though we ate out quite a bit and didn't do much cooking. There were a few plumbing issues that needed to be addressed while we were there, but they were quickly taken care of. The only drawback as far as the location was the fact that we needed to hire cabs and drivers due to the distance from the city. We...

"we love the home we love the location. The host was easy to communicate with the homeless, spacious and extremely clean and well kept. But there’s about three things that they need a tidy up. Their Wi-Fi needs to be better too much buffering improve on possible a new refrigerator third master bathroom shower water was only lukewarm for the whole week the other bathrooms all work great the other thing I know you can’t control, but there is a lot of dogs around the property that bark a lot. "

"Fantastic Villa with lots of space Overall we had a great stay in this villa and would return. It was clean and description matched well. Everything was in working condition. The Owner was friendly and helpful. Car is essential but there are restaurants in 10min radius. Other places are easily reachable in 60min drive to explore. (For Florence we recommend train from Altopascio) The only slightly negative point was the electricy&gas bill at the end. Make sure you have enough cash left."

"Luca is a very hospitable and friendly host! The house is exactly as in the pictures with a private entry gate and parking. The jacuzzi is heated and very relaxing.
