"Stunning resort but difficult to get around. The mini-buses aren’t great - don’t know why they don’t use buggies. Staff try their best but it’s just not what you’d expect for the price-point. Food was not great but food in St Lucia is generally average. Wouldn’t stay here again"

"The property is CLEAN and QUIET. The staff is REMARKABLE and ready to serve. The COST is reasonable. "The property is nice. The resort needs to provide ear plugs for their clients due to the noise of the tree frogs. Because of the way the building was designed, the tree frogs made an echo sound from sun set to sun rise. Other than that the resort has everything, restaurants, pools, bid and small and beach right on the premises."

"Wow!! We had an amazing week at The Soco. The hospitality, the staff, the food was amazing. Each room had a sea view and is equipped for all you need on an AI stay. The location was ideal for us, the hotel is at the of the boardwalk so you could chose to either drink and eat at the hotel or visit one of the bars and restaurants along the front. Which means you can have a quiet or louder night depending on your mood. The food at the hotel was excellent so we had no issues eating most meals at...

"Upon arrival to The Sands, we were greeted by friendly staff and offered a cold welcome drink of choice with instructions for an easy and quick self check in process. As we arrived prior to check in time, our room was not quite ready, but we were offered lunch and were invited to start enjoying the many amenities available to all guests. "Very peaceful place just outside Bridgetown, one to remember. We had a dinner and breakfast which was both perfect. We had a 4 year old child with us, which is probably not the ideal visitor here, but the staff was very accommodating and kind."

"Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Food very good and varied dining options. Super ambience. Only downside is no sunbeds ever available at the pool in spite of notice saying reserving sunbeds not allowed. Many were empty all day with no one using them even after putting towels on them. Policy should be enforced."

"Wow!! We had an amazing week at The Soco. The hospitality, the staff, the food was amazing. Each room had a sea view and is equipped for all you need on an AI stay. The location was ideal for us, the hotel is at the of the boardwalk so you could chose to either drink and eat at the hotel or visit one of the bars and restaurants along the front. Which means you can have a quiet or louder night depending on your mood. The food at the hotel was excellent so we had no issues eating most meals at the hotel. The service was top level and the staff (and general manger) went above and beyond to make our stay the best experience. Some people have mentioned the road noise in the reviews- yes you can hear the road as the hotel is on the main coast road, but this never bothered us and we slept so well! The hotel is boutique with only 24rooms (approx) so the staff get to know you and your preferences and the bartenders knew what drinks to make without us asking LOL In summary - my husband and I have a policy to never stay in the same place or hotel twice as we think the world is too small to repeat a visit - but we would stay at The Soco in Barbados again and already thinking about another visit never year- for us that is top marks!!"

"Very friendly front desk reception and bellmen. We so appreciated the visitor lounge to change to go to beach prior to room being ready. Equally convenient after check out , we used the showers before leaving to airport. A wonderful plus! We fully enjoyed the restaurants on site. Great value and delicious!"
