"We stayed in a room on the second floor. It was spacious, very clean, and provided a large comfortanle double bed and a separate single bed. The bathroom was in pristine condition. The room was very quiet and we had an undisturbed sleep. The buffet breakfast provided a range of food to suit everyone's taste. We had a very tasty full English breakfast comprising eggs, bacon, sausages and tomatoes. There was a pancake making machine but I didn't have the confidence to have a go; maybe next time....

"As always we had a wonderful stay, our room was on the 11th floor with amazing views of the city. Our check-in was with Mae and she was very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Only one negative, the pillows are not good. Overall a lovely stay."

"Lovely hotel in easy walking distance to town centre. Very traditional but in a modern way. Room was huge with lovely bedding towels and toiletries etc although furniture was a little tired. Restaurant and bar areas was very comfy and staff provided excellent service. Spa area was good although small however changing rooms were not very clean and the lockers were in a bad state of repair. Would definitely revisit hotel. "
