"It is such a lovely hotel. It smells just drvine and this was my third stay. The 2nd time in this room actually. Sadly the bathroom floor did have some small flecks of dirt, the bath had rust on and we were unable to get the plug out of the bath. These are such small minor things but are worthy of note. The staff were fabulous as usual. The communal eareas were beautifully decorated for Christmas. And whilst ive already said it it is worthy if a second mention. The hotel smells amazing! "

"Interesting hotel history and setting. Not sure it is worth a premium over other hotels. Room was nothing special for the cost. Lack of mini bar, everything including movies (£6.99!) extra"

"Really enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn’t stay again, room was freezing cold upon arrival and the bed wasn’t overly comfy causing both of us neck ache the following morning. Diner next door has amazing food though and the aesthetic is really lovely. "
