"We had a family rooms.. which was very generously sized, with 3 large,very comfortable beds and good facilities. Breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choices. All saff helpful and friendly. Really handy being so central in Bowness & plenty to do around and about... as always the views were amazing. Only negative point to make was that the wifi wasnt too great in the hotel & we gave up trying to download anything for our daughter to watch. Also its an additional £20 to park... so...

"Nice place, restaurant could do with figuring out that not everything goes with a mound of rocket and parmesan! Bar prices exorbitant and restaurant choices uninspiring. My advice is eat at the pub/bar in the grounds. The food is far better, more reasonable and more varied, plus a heap cheaper."

"Came especially for the spa which was excellent, very modern, plenty to do and not too overcrowded. The new part of the hotel was very modern and complimented the older part. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was on a corner in the old part and was bug and comfortable and even has a partial lake view which was lovely. Plenty of choice for breakfast which was in a lovely big bright room. We will definitely be coming back. "

"Great hotel, great location and lovely staff. Very welcoming and friendly. Bus 591, 555 stops just outside the hotel and can take you anywhere whether it’s Windermere, Grasmere, Keswick all very easy to commute. Some great restaurants around. Staff extremely friendly at the reception. Breakfast top notch - 10/10 for Manuel who takes orders at the brekkie area , always smiling. Would highly recommend. "

"Second time staying here. Stayed in same room 110 which is one of the biggest and great views over the lake. The room is big so can stretch out. Only down side was a shelf to put your clothes but it was fine. Nespresso coffee machine in room. All facilities lovely and staff all great. Couple bits a little dated and still needs tidying up but nothing to worry about. Great location hotel and ample parking. Look forward to stay again in same room which we like for the space and views. "
