"Good but one stay the heater wasn't working, they clearly knew as it had an electric radiator on there"

"We stayed as we booked the late swim and spa. Are room for three had two double beds and bathroom. Although dated and in need of a little attention it didn’t detract from our stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful a credit to the hotel. The outside swim area was cold and we couldn’t stay in it for long. The indoor pool was lovely and warm. We ate in the bar as the restaurant was full. Food was good and warm. Overall a great stay and would return."

"My family and I had a wonderful time at the hotel. We have been there before and the most recent stay was for my wife's birthday celebration. Lovely room, excellent restaurant, fantastic spa and pool area. Welcoming and helpful staff. Keep up the good work. Tfanks for a great stay."

"Stayed at the Manor house Hotel and spa on the 18.01.25 my husband and myself we had a lovely stay room was lovely and clean the bed was really comfy the staff were very helpful and pleasant nothing was to much trouble we didn't get time to go into the spa but next time we will. I would recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Excellent property stayed in the West wing which was very comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean< I used the health club facilities which had all the equipment you could need. Breakfast was very good "

"Corridors & hotel room tired e.g. torn wallpaper, scuffed table. Receptionist accused me of not paying for dinner the night before where I had to provide a credit card statement as proof of payment as apparently the till receipt wasn’t suffice & the Waiter didn’t provide a pdq receipt. Fantastic facilities & grounds & felt very festive!"

"The hotel was great for our one night stay. The rooms are basic but comfortable. Parts of the hotel could do with some work but overall was a lovely stay. The staff were the best thing about it, they went above and beyond in all areas, the pool, the reception, the bar and the restaurant."

"I spend half my life in hotels, and almost times there is something that’s let’s a place down. Not here. Absolutely amazing. Room, bed, bath, shower with actual fast water. Friendly staff good breakfast and very good price. Fresh decor warm and cosy. 10/10 all round. "

"As soon as we stepped in to the property I was happy. The check in went very smoothly. Every member of staff we came across was friendly and helpful. Our room was small, but had everything we needed. I loved that we had bottled water, a choice of sparking or still. Also nice hot chocolate as well as tea and coffee.The beds were very comfy with nice pillows and they had very nice fluffy towels in the bathroom.I would definitely stay again"

"Overall a great stay however breakfast service could be improved. The staff were friendly and helpful however thought approach of the chef strange. Can we have an omelette - no we don’t do them. Can we just have sliced avocado rather than the mashed - no. I don’t think either of these would really have been too much trouble for a chef but clearly not interested in pleasing the customer ."
