"This was a great place to stay in the heart of downtown! It’s only 2 min walk from Powell's (my favorite place in Portland) and the heart of the downtown shopping area. The hotel itself was very spacious and clean, but for a reasonable price! They had the cushiest bed and bathrobes for us to use. My only gripe was that the wifi was pretty awful. It was slow and constantly cut out, so I wouldn’t recommend this place for working travel as the wifi wasn’t reliable. "

"The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is the only meal served and had excellent choices. Dog and kid friendly! The only negative to be aware of is that the ADA rooms are ALL located at the furthest point from the elevators. If one is mobile and can use a standard walk-in shower, there are rooms closer to the elevators."

"The hotel is surrounded by forest and is in a beautiful part of the world. The hot tub and pool were wonderful on a snowy night. There is a bus stop near by that goes up the mountain to Timberline and other ski areas for $2 each way (bring cash)."
