"It was so cozy and calm. There is no central heat, so it took a day of burning wood to get the house warm. We also couldn’t figure out how to operate the oven the stove part we got, but not the oven. I just love being in the woods and that cozy cabin. It was lovely."

"One word... WOW! We needed a place to stay for 2 nights, close to Loloma Lodge for a wedding event, and we left wanting to stay for the rest of week!! It was a quaint and cozy home plus the roaring river was peaceful!! This is a little piece of Heaven!!"

"Nice property, but some instructional materials about heating, the stove for people unfamiliar with gas cooking, more specifics about trash and recycling. At 75 I’ve stayed in many rentals and I can’t remember a rental that didn’t provide more information. kitchen is well equipped."

"The property was in a very nice area near Mt Hood and very secluded as advertised. The only issue we had with place was the bedroom in loft and bathroom. Both of which are not meant for people with mobility issues or taller than 6ft. The loft had over a 24-inch step up to access the room. That seems like a very easy fix to add a step into room. The upstairs would still be challenging even with that modification due to steep, narrow staircase and angles of ceiling. I am just under...

"Wonderful cabin in the historic cabins in McKenzie Bridge. Very clean. Must have been recently updated. Nice & cozy for a family of four. Great location across the bridge from the McKenzie General Store (which is a delight and has great dinners, breakfast). Dog friendly. Would highly recommend "

"The cabin had a great location. Came in winter so could not sleep with windows open to hear the river but it is close enough you can hear it in the backyard. The heating system is a little loud in the front bedroom so don't put a light sleeper in that room. "

"What a sweet cabin! It’s very comfortable, super clean and well outfitted. We stayed over Thanksgiving and had all we needed for meal prep. The king bed was much appreciated. The upper level bedroom with 2 twins is so inviting. Great cabin ambiance! We enjoyed walking the grounds with our dog and there are lots of longer trails for hiking close by. We’ll definitely be returning."

"The warmth of pine walls and plush carpet in the main living area make this a perfect place for peace and quiet after the hustle bustle of Christmas. "

"The Treehouse was beautiful! It just right for two people. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was quiet and secluded. In less than 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle or the city, you'll have a quiet little oasis just for yourselves. I would 100% recommend this place. We will definitely be coming back whenever we visit Salem. "

"Gorgeous location is mostly private, possibly visible by only one neighbor. The hot tub works great, but a shelter/gazebo around the hot tub would have been nice. The utilization of space was good in the house. One of the bedrooms upstairs is a loft that overlooks the living room below. People in that loft bedroom will hear activity below until everyone else has gone to bed, too. Very spacious parking can easily accommodate larger vehicles. Overall, we would definitely recommend this property....

"Very nice place to escape to. Unfortunate dealings with the weather cutting off the power for most of the trip. There was also a bat inside the cabin which made for some excitement."
