"My husband and our three small kids stayed over Christmas. Trudi and Dennis were so welcoming, and the house was cozy and warm. The kids LOVED all the toys, and the house even got us started with milk, eggs, and bread in the fridge. We will be back! "

"My stay was excellent at the Hawthorne Hideaway. The neighborhood was pleasantly quiet and the bed decently firm. The quiet night of sleep was even better considering how close it is to numerous restaurants and shops. The kitchenette and bathroom were well equipped and the overall furnishings nice. There is a ton of natural light with some great skylights. Street parking was close and easy too. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling with a partner or solo."

"My sister and I were in town for a stressful reason, and we were grateful for a place to stay that was lovely and relaxing and had everything that we needed. Central location was so helpful. The kitchen is stocked well - air fryer, Instant Pot, Keurig, regular coffee maker, coffees/hot chocolate, tea and water and pop in the fridge, and much more! All rooms were, as another guest indicated, sparkling clean! Highly recommend!Two things of note that are different from what I've normally...

"Lots of room for the eight of us. Teens and adults enjoyed the ping pong, foosball, and darts. The kitchen was well stocked. Fun to take the trails along the river. Rose garden was beautiful. Only one tv and it’s small. We wanted to use our fire stick to watch the college World Series and that was challenging. Overall a great rental. We plan to try to book it again next year."

"We enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Portland. It is in a great location with ample space for two couples or a family of four. It is so quiet at night. Everything is comfortable. It was central to several activities. We ate at Pepino's in the city, we went wine tasting at Patricia Green Cellars in Newberg, we ate at Red Hills Market in Dundee (really good), went to Helvetia Farm, we ate at La Provence. There are several walking trails around. Great place! Thank you, Lisa"

"Spacious, clean, and a convenient location. Hosts were easy to work with and thoughtful. Easy access to the freeways. Even a high speed charger for our electric car was only 3 minutes away at Walmart. Overall a perfect stay."

Close enough to the quaint historic town center with cute shops and wide choice of cuisine. Quiet enough to hear owls “talking” to each other late at night. Wonderful high windows with views of tall trees. Super comfy bed and amazing shower. Nice kitchen area. TV and WiFi stable. Fantastic communication and kindness experience with hosts.
