"Good hotel for short stay. Good location. Walls are very thin, could hear upstairs, lobby, and outside. "

"The room was ok, comfortable bed, quiet area. Unfortunately the tv didnt work properly, staff came to look at it but couldnt sort it and there were no maintenance staff available, offered another room but that tv was the same so just had to make do. The towels were only small, didnt cover up, did have to ask the next day and were given bigger towels but shouldnt have to ask really. Overall ok but for the price would have expected these issues not to have occured ."

"Another great stay at Melbourne House. Hotel is clean and exceptionally well maintained, offering exactly enough for a comfortable stay without the unnecessary expense of some hotels. I stayed on the top floor which is a considerable distance up the stairs and there is no lift. This was clearly stated before booking so this is in no way a complaint, merely an observation for others to be aware of. I liked the exercise 👍👍 Location is ideal, very close to the tube station and not too far a walk...

"Reception staff were very friendly! This hotel was a roof over my head for the night. You pay for what you get. It could do with a few touches up like a lick of pain, a good cleaning in the showers and some new extension cords that aren’t hit and miss. It’s about 8 min drive from the US Embassy, and a 14 min walk from Victoria Coach Station. "

"Stayed here 2 years ago for our anniversary, and came back this year for our anniversary. Love the spot, it is economical, and though the room is small, it is comfortable, and the staff is accomodating. Checked in early, and there is a secure bag drop if you want to do that as well. It is super close to central London, easy commute to Soho or the sights and the price was right!"

"Less than 5 min walk from Victoria Station in London, variable dining options steps from the hotel. You need to get the key from another hotel but again, within a 5-min walk from the property. Upgraded room and had what we needed for an overnight stay."
