"There are many different choices of onsens in the ryokan. The staff are excellent as well, their english proficiency is one of the best I’ve seen as well. Although there were some incidents at the start when we check in, the staffs are very efficient at dealing with it. Overall I’ll recommend anyone who visits Kurokawa onsen to give this ryokan a try"

"A beautiful place to stay in beautiful surroundings. Hiroki-san took great care of us from the beginning, explaining everything and serving our meals. He was very kind, patient with my attempts at speaking Japanese, and welcoming. The riverside room had an amazing view in the autumn.
