"Excellent property, it is fantastic… very clean… the room is big and very nice. I like walk inside the property during the night because it has fantastic views, also during the day. Nice swimming pools with two jacuzzi. The breakfast that I had included is fantastic. And the most is all the hotel team is fantastic, friendly and cordial. I will be in the same place when I return to the area"

"The staff was supposed to get back to me regarding additional reservations. I still have not heard back from them. Further, it’s very difficult to reach the front desk from an external phone. I tried to reach them because I had left my water shoes behind and wanted to let them know to keep it safely so that I can pick it up later. "Overall a lovely place to stay. The accommodation was lovely, clean and comfortable. The pool was perfect to relax by. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful also with recommendations of where to eat it town. The only slight negatives are there was no safe in the room and the long (about 1km) dirt road to get there, but even with a tiny 2wd car going very slow it was fine. It’s about a 20 minute walk into the main town. Overall I would definitely stay here again though "

"Shawandha Ecolodge had incredibly kind and helpful staff. The bungalow was charming and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was tasty and plentiful. The only thing that made my stay less than ideal was the construction 2 bungalows away from me. I understand there’s no truly great time to do construction, but having saws and hammering begin at 8 am and not stop until after 5 pm made it impossible to sleep in or get rest during the daytime, and for me that was kind of a big deal. "Property is very nice away from the main road which makes it pretty quiet. Breakfast was decent. Staff friendly. While we stayed there they had an issue with the Wi-fi not working, the hotel had people working on it but by the time we left there was still no internet connection."

"Very nice cabins. The ones closest to the road can be a little noisy but not unbearable. Great restaurant on the property. We also visited a nearby Caribbean restaurant called Lidia’s for delicious food. The beach is walking distance behind the property but you have to search for a safe spot to swim due to big surf "
