"This home is perfect! You don’t have to leave to see the wild life. We saw howler monkeys, hummingbirds, and parrots right from the back yard. Me and my husband loved the meditation room to just look out into nature and relax. Its located near the beach, 20 minute drive to Cahuita national park, and a 15 minute drive to Puerto Viejo. It has everything you need to enjoy Costa Rica!"

"We had the most incredible stay at Casita Tucan. Starting with the check in process- so smooth and the hosts were extremely accommodating letting us leave our luggage in the main office before check in so we could go explore. Staying in this house is an experience unlike anywhere else. You are quite literally in the jungle. "Read the small print! First look said it had a pool, whole house to yourself , washer and dryer at 20$ a load? A/C did not work, TV remote was broken, no streaming ? Place needs some TLC. Gas stove was a little scary and ran out. Water pressure was horrible (except the outdoor shower, that was good, electric power showed water in port in American I phones . "Overall, this is an amazing property. The only issue we had was the lack of fans to move air. All of the structures on the property are open air and have no central air conditioning so the addition of fully functioning ceiling fans is very important. The fan in the main room did not work at all and other ceiling fans seem to not move much air."
