"It was very nice to stay out of town, yet conveniently close enough to walk to town. Very private and quiet. Just a couple of minutes walk away, from Nacho Mama's LB Burrito which was excellent! I will definitely stay at the Secret Jungle again. "

Also, we couldn’t find the house in the first place since it has no name on it, neither would people living there know the place (in the hostel itself it then shows a different name). "A great hotel just south of Puerto Viejo. Very good pool (with 2 large hot tubs). Direct accesss onto beautiful Caribbean beach. The restaurant was good although seemed quite quiet and therefore lacking some atmosphere- The only problem was that I had booked a ‘family bungalow’ by the pool thinking this would be great for a family of 4 with 2 teenage children, but these bungalows have 2 bedrooms with a single queen bed in each, and no flexibility to put in two single beds. "Beautifully decorated rooms and bathrooms made use of natural materials and modern fixtures. We could hear monkeys in the morning from the balcony! Dining area overlooking the lovely pool was picturesque. Breakfast was excellent. The staff went all out to accommodate us. Josue at the front desk helped us when our Waze let us down and was there to welcome us with coconuts! I wish I could remember more names because the entire staff was top notch. "

A lovely 3 days in wonderful surroundings

"A lovely 3 night stay in beautifully maintained tropical gardens and well kept comfortable 2 bed cottage. Lots of wildlife in the gardens and trees including Sloths. Hosts were fantastic and nothing was too much of a problem. Beautiful swimming pool and right on the beach. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. "

"Namu was exceptional. The hospitality was out of this world. Beautiful property. Amazing food. The staff treat you like royalty. Jeremy's mojitos are the best ever. We cannot wait to go back. I cant even begin to describe how amazing this place is! "

"Excellent property, it is fantastic… very clean… the room is big and very nice. I like walk inside the property during the night because it has fantastic views, also during the day. Nice swimming pools with two jacuzzi. The breakfast that I had included is fantastic. And the most is all the hotel team is fantastic, friendly and cordial. I will be in the same place when I return to the area"
