"The room was good and conveniently located right across from the station. However, noise was an issue. We stayed in room 104, and there was constant noise, possibly from the restaurant downstairs, which stopped around 11 PM but started again in the morning. The room was also too warm, and we had to keep our terrace door open all night to cool it down. "

"We enjoyed the value accommodation and it's proximity to the Zermatt Shuttle. The included breakfast was perfectly respectable and fed us well. We found there was little in the way of comforts other than the bed in the rooms, but appreciated the small balcony. Train noise might be an issue for very light sleepers, but was acceptable for us. I would say the underground parking requires sprucing up as it is quite foreboding right now."

The room was larege enough , however the bathroom is very small & old styled , especially the shower area , it’s just so small & the two sliding doors of the shower area were too old so that difficult to close properly , maybe our room was not located in the new building of the hotel ?! "This is a lovely hotel a few blocks from the train station. It is clean, room was well appointed, we had a great view, bed was comfy and towels were generously cushy. Breakfast was a great array of light options… ( instant coffee capuccino was disappointing.) Staff was not welcoming… a tad gruff. "Overall fantastic - views are second to none. The hiking around the area is unreal and it’s great to be there before the first train and tourists descend. Dinner was amazing and servers were extremely attentive. Only feedback is that for the price they could have proper coffee machines in the room! Small thing but in other cheaper hotels there were real coffee machines whereas this was cheap sachets… with nothing else around it would be nice to have a proper coffee. Everything else was amazing...

"I stayed in this small family hotel almost every year since 2016 at the end of August or beginning of September. Good breakfast, spa area (jacuzzi, sauna, hamam), very friendly and helpful owner. Also, when you stay during the summer, you will get a free cable car pass (+local buses in Saastal) in a form of an electronic pass. The area is very calm especially compared to Saas Fee and Zermatt. Having a car definitely helps if you want to have a dinner in one of those fancy restaurants in Saas...
