"Pros : Great welcome from Jack. Shown to room 3 which was a double en-suite. Perfectly adequate for us. Nice clean bedding and a clean shower and wc. The room was tastefully decorated with quality furnishings. A small compact room with a well stocked tea tray. The weather was lovely so it was great to open the window fully for a nice breeze. "I found the facilities fine and my room was exceptionally clean and comfortable with more than enough tea, coffee etc., available. The meal I had was good and well presented. It's well situated in the middle of the square with plenty of parking though you are on a time limit but parking is available at the rear of the hotel next door and is available for you to use if you wish it. There is also a quiet beer garden at the back."

It was a perfect choice for the 1 night stay we had in breaking a long drive from the north of Scotland to south yorkshire. Food and drink in the inn was very nice and the service by the staff likewise. Breakfast was included in the cost of the stay and we knew it was going to be as good as its past reviews.
