Booked this hotel with Expedia but had to cancel due to my husband breaking his arm and couldn’t drive. Expedia assured us we would get a refund but emailed to say sorry they couldn’t get hold of the management at the hotel. We are now out of pocket. Wouldn’t book with Expedia ever again. Amazing stay at The George…. Beautiful room and the whole hotel was so cosy!! Log fires and a very nice bar area. Breakfast was great and we had that overlooking the river. Would definitely stay again!!
