"The hotel itself has some beautiful views. Short distance from the mx track which was why we booked as we had a weekend of racing. On arrival the lady on reception was welcoming and friendly, so was the bloke who was also in reception- I think he might’ve been a doorman / security maybe? "I simply wanted a room for the night having attended a funeral earlier. Check in and out was simple and the twin room was spacious and comfortable if a little dated. The bathroom was ok and I enjoyed a morning shower with good water pressure. Although there is no food offering the nearby pub offered well priced meals including an all day breakfast. Not a place for a romantic getaway but as a no frills value for money stay it was absolutely fine."
