"We returned to The President because it ticks most of our boxes. It's comfortable, clean, good service, good breakfast and the location is great for our needs. Just round the corner from Russell Square tube station and some nice places to eat. It makes a great base to explore London. There is still some building work going on at the back of the hotel which can cause some noise but only through the day when you're likely to be up and about. This was the same as last years stay. "5 minute walk from Euston, the building inside is beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable (my only gripe was that the pillows were far too soft for me). A 5 minute walk took us to Russell Square tube station, 3 stops later we were at Leicester Sq right next to our theatre and plenty of places to eat. "

"I spoke with desk staff 4 times during my 10-night stay re lack of heat in my room. At first, the heating/cooling unit wouldn't even turn on. After a couple of days, it would come on but only blow cold air. Asked a third time to have the unit checked, a small, ineffective space heater was provided. Finally, a couple of days before departure, when i was asking for a late checkout, I was told that the room was already booked for the next guest. I strongly urged them not to let this room out again...
