"Parking for Monteverde cloud forest is right in front of the hotel. Hotel is deep inside with no convenience stores in walkable distance. Hotels.com had incorrect location listed which made us go in circles to find the place. We used yoga room for yoga. They have kitchen. Road the hotel is terrible with many potholes. Driving in rain was terrible experience specifically when you are coming for the first time and have incorrect directions. "

"We checked in on the last afternoon. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted by howler monkeys in the parking lot! Just hanging out above the cars, in the trees. It was a very cool sight. The reception clerk was very friendly and informative about the property and things to do in the area. Including walking the hotels wilderness trail that's right on the property. We took advantage of this right before sunset. It's beautiful. Only about 1 mile of trail, but full of trees, rustic paths and...

"This hotel is the only one to stay in if you have to go to Puntarenas. The town is rundown and dirty with nothing to offer. However this hotel was a life saver! Nice pool and modern with on site restaurant and bar. Small rooms though but manageable. "
