The hotel is over 100 years old so we weren’t expecting modern amenities found in newer properties. That said our room was clean and functional but it is in need of a refresh; rusty shower head that doesn’t allow for adjustment a heater that likely wouldn’t work well on a really cold night. "The property is equidistant from the Festival and Avon theatres - less than 10 min walk in each direction. The hosts were quite accommodating of food allergies or aversions for breakfast. I will likely be going back. "

"This bed and breakfast has a great location to downtown shopping and dining. It is also possible to walk to all of Stratford Festival theaters. It is run by a family and they are very gracious and attentive. We did not do the breakfast option they offered, since there are many restaurants within walking distance. They do offer coffee and tea at no cost, which was nice. "

"Our shoulder season stay with Eleanor and Dave was very pleasant. Our accommodations were above average. We enjoyed wonderful food while viewing the lovely property, and interesting conversation. We arrived to a welcoming greeting and left with a warm hug having made new friends who treated us like family. We will return when in the area."
