"Decent accommodations on the north end of the French Quarter. Had everything we needed within walking distance of the quarter. Daily breakfast was reasonably good with a variety of choices. All the staff we encountered were friendly, professional and helpful. All in all, no complaints and we'd stay here again."

"This was an older country inn. The door locks were not working. It looked like the hotel was recently purchased and they are renovating it while people are staying in the hotel. "

"Great staff and location was amazing. Only issue was 1 day without hot water when the boilers went out, mentioned it to the front desk and the lady reacted like it was a burden for her. On check in a different lady gave us great recommendations on places to go see and eat."

"Everything was accceptable. It was very cold outside and we could not get the heat to work. The light came through the bottom of the door and lit up the room when we were trying to sleep. The breakfast was adequate. "

"We were there with 2 other friends for the EPIC snowstorm 2 weeks ago. The staff was great for our entire stay. While a lot of places were closed, they remained open. The kitchen wasn't open but they did cook some breakfast food for the guests. Monroe was excellent! We had a fantastic time and will be back when the weather is a bit warmer."

"I want to say that the breakfast food was very good, area clean and well stocked each day I ate there. The hotel seems to be an older property in its design but was well cared for. Entrance off the interstate is a hard turn so go behind the property and enter from the back entrance off Veterans Blvd. "

"This quaint property was in a perfect location for our visit to the French Quarter. It is within an easy walk to the Natchez paddlewheel (just across the street), the French Market and Cafe du Monde, Bourbon Street, the trolley stations, and many restaurants. The staff was very friendly. The inn felt like a boutique hotel with several buildings, each with just a few guest rooms. The room was spacious, quiet, and nicely appointed. We would definitely stay there again on a future trip to NOLA!"
