"Booked primarily because it is close to jr station. Downside after 8pm nothing nearby open except family mart inside station. Staff were great. Assisted filling out the luggage transfer form and retrieving card when I locked my self out while checking out. Bed is firm and comfortable. Ac can be controlled. Shower press is great "

"This is our second time staying at this hotel. We booked the Basic Twin Room. The bathroom is quite old. It was very different to where we stayed in last year (we got a "new" room). I think this needs to be renovated, but the room itself is quite comfy, except the air conditioner. We tried to set the temperature to the lowest with high fan, but the room was still hot and stuffy especially when sleeping. Overall, we were pretty satisfied with the stay. "Check-in was a little confusing as I had just wanted to leave my bag at the concierge before returning later for check-in at 3 pm, but the reception staff didn't seem to understand. Before I knew what was happening, they checked me in early (around 12 noon). Unfortunately, the cleaning staff were still cleaning the room, so I had to just leave my bag in my room while the staff were cleaning. Other than that, the hotel was fine. Breakfast was a set Japanese menu of rice, natto, miso soup, fish...

"Location was superb right outside the Hanabatacho station. Across the street from the Kumamoto Castle and in a huge shopping district. Staff were great the only negatives were the desk chair was heavily stained along with the bed pillows needed replacing. With a little upkeep we would of given this hotel 5 stars."
