"Hotel looks a little shabby on the outside, but is in reasonably good condition internally. Very friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently positioned for city (about a 35min walk) free parking at hotel. Buffet breakfast with wide choices. The room was on the small side and we could hear other guests. Pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. All facilities in room worked well and were clean. "

"Brilliant location stones throw from minster. Staff were extrememy friendly and accommoding with parking arrangements. Room was a brilliant size (we had 3 adults sharing 2 single beds and a sofa bed). Not at all cramped. All decoration and bathroom lovely and clean. Ample tea and voffee in room and at reception was nice touch. Good choice of hot breakfast options on the menu. Couldn't fault location. Very central but the minster bells didn't keep us awake, good soundproofing! Would definitely...

"I was looking for a reasonably priced place for an overnight stay for a work trip without spending over £100.00 on some of the "cheep hotel chains rooms". This little nugget was just what was needed, a nice comfy bed, ease of access, polite and friendly staff. When I asked for suggestions on where to eat as their kitchen was closed and it was spot on!"
