The washbasin area looks modern and is well equipped with amenities, including a face steamer. Separate toilet is large. Bathtub is deep for a good soak with a nice view of the outside. "Stayed at Aratashi Minakami for 5 nights and it was incredible. The rooms are large and comfy. Spacious enough for 3 double beds and luggage! Our package came with breakfast and dinner and every meal was gourmet level. The private hot tub on the room balcony is a special touch and great for enjoying the sounds and view of the river below while soaking aching muscles after a day of snowboarding. "This is a small hotel with limited hotel rooms. Some rooms need to shared bath. We stayed in a Japanese style room with a private bath. The room is not fancy but clean and confortable. The hotel is walkable distance to most of the attractions, only 2 min walk to Shokyo bridge, 15 mins walk to Toshogu Shrine, and 18 mins walk to Tobu-Nikko train station. The Heritage shuttle bus stop 7 is right in front of the hotel. "
