"The surrounding area is beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rate included breakfast which was nice. However, this is an all-smoking room hotel - contrary to what it’s listed as. There was no noticeable odor in the room, but might not be the same for all. And they’re having trouble with the hot spring source so there’s no onsen water to the room balcony baths (my main reason for booking), and their regular hot spring will be sometimes closed. That was the most disappointing part. "

The free shuttle service to the ski resort was also extremely useful as they would drive you to your desired resort and pick you up at your specified time. "This is one of the best stays we had. The house was magical. Comfortable beds, spotless clean, quiet. Host was really nice. We slept very well. We loved the Japanese family table. "

"部屋入りして直ぐに部屋が冷えていたので、エアコンをチェックし、暖房温度を少し上げました。所が30分程経過しても暖かい風が出てこない為、フロントへ伝えました。2〜3分後に確認者がドア口に来ましたが、その時にエアコン風口に手をかざすと、温風が出ていることが確認できました。えっ、何故でしょうか？温かい風が出ていることの確認は私、確認に来た方はドア口。一旦、それで大丈夫としましたが、その1〜3分後にエアコンフィルターを掃除して下さいと、リモコンに。エアコンの温調が、原因かどうかは分かりませんが、翌朝以降、今も鼻水が止まりましせん。折角のスキーが体調不良のまま・・・。初めての旅籠屋宿泊で、とても期待していたので、とても残念です。利用させて頂いた立場なのに、大変申し訳ないのですが、次回以降の利用は避けなければなりません。"
