"First I can not say enough about the staff at Kohea Kai. They really made us feel welcomed from when we first stepped onto the property. Nestled right across the street from the beach and minutes drive down to Safeway and Foodland, this was the perfect location for us on our trip in Maui. "We loved having the beautiful green space to enjoy the water view. The condition of the room was not good. Some doors couldn't be locked. Some windows couldn't be opened. We communicated this to the person on staff. She never showed she was very interested in helping. A security guy was there and got involved. No AC so opening doors and windows was important. Person on staff both days we were there seemed to not care at all about our experience and needs. Wouldn't stay there again. "
