"All staff were excellent. Especially the manager on duty at 6pm and the lady supervising the pool, she was exceptionally helpful. I have a mobility issues. I was shocked at having to pay to park my car for an overnight night stay. A first for me. Will give the hotel a miss next time for that reason."

"This is an old hotel, which does need some tlc, however, the receptionist told me the rooms are nearly finished a refurb and whats been done so far is lovely. Our executive double was large, warm and a really comfy bed. Breakfast was served fresh, hot and good quality. Great location. Shame its £9 a night to park but as the accommodation is so reasonable we didnt mind. Much better than many other sheffield hotels."

"It's a very old hotel, so lots of features. Some people might think it's dated but that's part of the charm. Corridors etc. need an update although this is a massive task. "Changed rooms due to noisy pipes, but they were very helpful about this. Couldn’t ever get through to anyone at reception. Went down to order good, sent the wrong food! Ate it anyway as was very hungry! It was good. Breakfast was good. "
