"I booked a delux room with one double bed and the photo showed a sofa in the room. I got a room with one double and one single bed and no sofa. The reception said there was no such room as I had booked at this hotel. ? The bath/ shower only had the hot tap working so the shower became very hot and was unable to cool it. Otherwise a very comfortable and quiet night. "

"Lovely hotel, staff and the rooms are decorated very well. Only downfall was the breakfast…the restaurant when I came down at 8:30am was a mess, barely a clean table, almost every table had plates with left over food…. The breakfast itself I am sure was precious days food warmed up. This is shame as I’ve had lunch there before and it was really good…. Perhaps there was a staffing issue, I don’t know. I’d still come back, however fresh breakfast next time please. "

Room at the back overlooking the car park was quiet and perfectly adequate for my couple of nights stay. Marlborough was a lovely town for a quick walk round with a few independent shops and cafes."
