"Lovely stay as always, but the new electronic system needs looking at, paying for your food before it arrives at your table isn't the best way to go, especially if the food turns out to not be right. Also the doors in the public areas need a good wash down and painting, breeding ground for germs"

"The hotel is really nice, but the people working there are AMAZING. The two girls at the reception were so lovely and helpful (I think one was called Kelsey, sorry! I’m terrible with names). Check in and check out on point and when we asked for some towels we got them in minutes. I recommend this place without any doubt. "

"Hotel is tired and needs some attention on paintwork Room was not clean , bits on the carpet , cobwebs , no mattress cover just 1 sheet over bare mattress Had run out of vinegar at meal time Mainly all staff were friendly and very good with my disabled daughter "

"Lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. Staff were polite and helpful. Room was larger than expected and the bed so very comfortable. There was a wide selection of foods available at Breakfast for even fussiest of eaters. Did not use Spa/pool etc but have decided will go back later in the year and enjoy it all !!"

"We got a triple room that was clean and was quiet. The mattresses are maybe due for renewal, springs were a bit noisy and mattress was thin, But still managed to sleep so no major dramas. The full English breakfast was absolutely stunning. Worth noting that the bar is not available out of hours. "

"Basic but functional. Looking rather tired. What I found irksome was a £20 penalty charge for early check in at 1.30pm, even though rooms were available! So I filled up with fuel and had a coffee until after 3pm when there is no charge."
