"Great lodging! A very short walk from the train station, and yet very quiet. Smelled fresh, very clean. Our 1 bedroom was terrific. Full kitchen, living space with couch and tall desk table. Bathroom tiny but worked for us…and so clean! Bed was comfy. Front desk person was kind and welcoming. This place was ideal for a one night stay AND would be terrific as a base for several nights while exploring the area. Easy train to Southampton, and also to Bath. Busses that go to Stonehenge. Walking...

"The shared living area was great with eggs Milk bread tea freshly ground coffee with a French press.... Lovely. BUT... the floors are wooden and look great, when late night guests come in with high heels on orceatlybtisers make microwaved scrambled eggs be prepared to be woken as sound proofing isn't great. The room we stayed in, the little house is very small, my advise is to move or get rid of the TV as in its current position it's no more than a radio. The stairs are very hard to negotiate as...

"This property was spotless and well equipped. It is a bit ‘off the beaten track’, but in a lovely location and within walking distance of an excellent village shop. There is another property adjoining this one. The provision of a swimming pool enhanced this property greatly. Although we only met the host, Helen, twice she was most pleasant and helpful. Would certainly recommend this accommodation if one is looking for peace and solitude and yet it is only about 5 miles from Romsey."
