The food was a little underwhelming, however; this doesn't mean it wasn’t nice, just had a little higher expectation based on other reviews. It's a cozy hotel where lots of people congregate to have a good time, so expect during the weekends that there will be noise (music, laughter, increasing in intensity as people drink more) late at night. This is because the rooms are close to the bar and fireplace area (I'd suggest the hotel to have a quiet time starting at 10pm or 11pm at most).
