"On arrival service was spot on, the room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The only slight negative was the amount of time needed for hot water to reach the shower. My evening meal was good quality and reasonably priced, beer was good and the breakfast was also good quality and well cooked. I would definitely stay here next time I’m in the area. "

"Convenient location close to the A64 and a number of Yorkshire attractions. My room was in an annexe building at the top of the car park. All was bright, clean and warm. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. Ample tea and coffee in the room. Strong free WiFi. Room on the small side and bathroom tiny though adequate.
