"It is a very nice pub to stay local in. Small but comfortable room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only stayed overnight and only had breakfast which we nothing enjoyed. Stayed before and will no doubt stay again ."

"Convenient location close to the A64 and a number of Yorkshire attractions. My room was in an annexe building at the top of the car park. All was bright, clean and warm. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. Ample tea and coffee in the room. Strong free WiFi. Room on the small side and bathroom tiny though adequate. As well as that the restaurant serve very good food at reasonable prices, as it was our final night of our holiday in Scotland and we were travelling home it was very welcome.
