"Very charming hotel with a lively vintage vibe and an excellent restaurant. The room and general interior seemed tired, but everything was very clean and smelled lovely. The courtyard beer garden is very characterful! The staff were all young and cheerful and the food was phenomenal! Do go for their recommendation of house beers - Arkell's Brewery, very good brew. "This is a cheap and cheerful place to stay that fits the bill for night or two. It’s close to the Swindon Discount shopping centre and it is right beside the M4. "Friendly and helpful staff. Good food in the pub/restaurant on site. The breakfast area is separate from the pub area, which we thought was a nice touch. Room was a good size (it was the Stratton Suite). Water was great pressure in the shower. Just one small thing. The door at the top of the stairs needs some WD40!"
