"Very clean hotel and rooms, although they are on the smaller side. Great location, nice easy walk to anything you could want to do in Edinburgh. Maybe some rooms are different but we didnt have amenities like a microwave, fridge, hair dryer etc but the room was spotless, everything worked, smart tv connects to your phone so you can use your own streaming accounts. Coffee and breakfast in the morning was delicious if you just wanted a quick bite. For the money and location I don't think you can...

"Overall good place to stay. It’s close to public transport. My only concern is the lightning in the room is a bit dark and hurt my eyes. There will be a few stairs if your room is located at the other end of the hall way (further side from the lift). Room is warm and bed is comfy. "

"We had a great stay, although there are pros and cons. We stayed here with our kids, 5yo and 9mo old. We assumed there will be a microwave and a fridge in the room just like every holiday inn in the US but they don’t. That was our mistake. We needed a microwave to sterilize my baby’s bottles and the staff were very helpful to let us use their microwave. "Staff very helpful and friendly and made every effort to change my room to one with walk in shower due to small fracture in my back. Restaurant good menu choice. Breakfast selection very good, except bacon which became hard while keeping warm. Orange/apple juice machine produced weak odd tasting drink! Coffee selection very good. Will definitely stay again when visiting brother in Edinburgh."

Excellent 👌

"We had an awesome time at Holiday Inn, Edinburgh. The hotel is conveniently located at heart of the city making all the tourist attractions easily accessible. The breakfast spread was great and kids loved it. The front desk staff were very cordial and even helped us with some food options pretty late in night (kids were jet lagged 😀). Overall our experience was great and we would love to come back again sometime in future. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Edinburgh."

Best kept secret in Edinburgh

"perfect location, very friendly and helpful staff. This hotel is tucked away in the west end, walking distance to almost everything, many restaurants to choose from and the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. They do not have onsite laundry but the staff were very helpful in locating a local laundromat. They also no longer offer breakfast, but lots of good choices close by. For the price and the location, this hotel met all our needs"
