"If you check back, I stayed here a year ago. It wasn't so good. But a year later and new owners and my god what a change. Parking is great. Met by welcoming staff. I had my usual room and it had been redecorated and now the windows open, no longer painted closed. Lovely powerful shower. Last year the evening meal was terrible, tiny portions and over priced. "Friendly and helpful staff. Good food in the pub/restaurant on site. The breakfast area is separate from the pub area, which we thought was a nice touch. Room was a good size (it was the Stratton Suite). Water was great pressure in the shower. Just one small thing. The door at the top of the stairs needs some WD40!"
