"If I had read my emails before arrival I would’ve found out about the parking being over the road but even so, staff at reception gave me all the information I needed and allocated a permit for us. "On arrival was concerned as there was wedding taking place at the hotel, lots of people. We were greeted by Rose on reception who was friendly and informative. We stayed in room 111 which had a wonderful view of the sea and st bees head, I found this to be very impressive, the room was comfortable with heating and tea making facilities. Our room was quiet and we didn't get disturbed by the wedding. We enjoyed the closeness of the beach and walked up at bees head which is a must if you stay...

"My second time in a year to the Lake District. Great Hotel and excellent rooms. My room was flooded with light and a big comfortable bed. Heating was great and the house keeping. The breakfasts are fantastic and certainly worth the indulgence. It’s located in a lovely village, with breweries, pubs, tea rooms and local craft shops. I highly recommend a stay. "
