"We had the most fantastic stay for my husbands birthday. We were absolutely breath taken from the moment we stepped through the doors. The service was second to none, absolutely fantastic so polite and friendly! The standard was impeccable and we were made to feel so special throughout our stay. The spa was beautiful and we got an upgrade to a gorgeous room which made our stay so special. The Elemis products in the bathroom was a huge plus. Stunning views and just what we needed, the perfect one night stay for a couple needing a break from reality. Thank you so much and we can’t wait to come back soon"

"We stayed in one of the suites, Olive 1, for the night. The room is lovely and very clean. Very nice touch having a jacuzzi bath, steam room and sauna all in the room. Highly recommend staying here. We will be returning. "

"We had a great weekend here for our 40th wedding anniversary, all the staff very friendly and helpful. Had room 66 with a fab 4 poster bed and a great view over the lake. We ate in the main restaurant for dinner and it was sumptuous honestly like a Michelin star! Breakfast is spot on, everything you need and more. It’s a big old building with lots of character but nicely upgraded too. Will be back 😊 "

Room was spacious with excellent bathroom and shower Used to go to local old laundry theatre which was. very close walking distance. Nice local restaurants. Excellent breakfast. Very nice hotel. If returning to the area we would use again. "

"Great service and friendly staff, nice room & facilities. Breakfast was well cooked, great quality and very tasty....... lots of choice as well ! Fab location. Only draw back is the £25 additional fee for using the car parking facilities, which i think is excessive for a 1 night stay"
